We have not found anything bad about this camcorder yet. We got it at Christmas time and it worked well for our needs. It was even knocked in the snow by accident (with view screen shut), and still works great.

Outdoors video shoot is simply perfect. Fine quality when shooting indoors or low light places.Lots of grans but it's normal on dim places. NO night vision is a downside. Poor flash light is also a downside.Photo mode and focusing times could be better.Sleek and small design and a cool Blue HD light is nice. I suggest a larger battery and a couple of back up batteries if you plan to take it on travels due to its original battery's Poor battery life. Also I bought it here.

great cam, glad I bought it. My main complaint is it stores vids in .mts files. the included software is okay, it converts to a lower quality .wmv if you upload to youtube, and a lower quality .m4v if you save in your iTunes. for myself I would prefer if it stored the files as .mp4 or .wmv and just let me convert to the quality and size vid I wanted using third party software. I have to convert the .mts just to get it into an editor.
