Comments about JVC GZ-HM200B HD Camcorder - Black:

I got this camcoder to have a nice little HD camcoder that I can carry around all day long without feeling the weight of it, and still be able to shoot full-HD high quality videos.
Video quality is excellent for camcoder of this size. Interface is amazing, it's very easy to use. Love the laser-touch technology, stabilizer, face-finder and how responsive it is - it's always ready to start shooting in a flash.
Areas for potential improvement are:
- Frequent re-focusing with face-finger feature enabled in low-light conditions. CC tries to constantly refocus and it's quite visible in the end-product video.
- Hand-band has to go. We need a better solution for that part.
- When connecting to the PC, cannot directly access video files on the Flash Card. The fact that I need to install the software on every PC where I want to access the video files is very inconvenient and quite a hassle. Please add an ability to directly access the files once camera is connected through USB to a PC.

Aside from few minor drawbacks, an excellent purchase or a well-made and well-priced camcoder. Looking forward to shooting my trips with it, and maybe even my coming wedding =)

The camera is excellent for taking home video and has a very good zoom capability for the price.
You can not get movies from the SD card directly as with any digital camera. Must use the software or convert to iTunes.

Comments about JVC GZ-HM200B HD Camcorder - Black:

So far shot some indoor shots at Thanksgiving. Low light was alright but auto focus struggled at times. Still, much better than my old Digital 8 Sony. Shot a bunch of indoor soccer footage last night. 20X zoom was incredible. IS seemed to work alright given how far I was from the action.
