the video recording isnt bad but the stills part of the camera is horrible. u pay [$] for a vidio/digital camera but find only good for video. the megapixel rating on this product is like .3 so if ya want a good stills pic research the megapixel rating first.

Purchased to video our young son. Easy to set up and use without much reading. Highly recommend purchasing the longer-life battery! Did not create a movie on DVD yet so that will be the next test.

I use this camcorder to record my daughter's basketball games. Great picture quality even in indoor events and good quality sound too, easy to operate. Software works well with Window XP. I bought an extra battery for longer recording. I'm loving it!
