I bought this camera after using Toshiba HD, Sony HD and JVC HD...This is the best camera I have used so for.. Shooting in low light is not a problem at all - where as the other ones would be trying to auto focus everytime.. It is so easy to use that even my 6 yr old can record his Super Mario Galaxy while he is playing for posting into Youtube..
The picture quality good and I recommend this camera to someone who is looking for a reliable camera to record the best moments in your life - kids sports, cultural activity etc even in low light..

My kids use it (right out of the box without looking at the manual) more than me but the picture is great. The view screen is sharp and clear as well. The microphone is sensitive though, recommend recording from a distance if there is a lot of noise in the recording scene. But the sound recorded is clean. Only issue I have is one feature located on the view screen, it's a blue slide bar that lets you slide a finger up and down to scroll but it's very sensitive and somewhat jumpy so it takes a bit to get to the file you want to view/edit/delete.

This is a great camera to record family functions, vacations etc. Very compact, light and comfortable to carry.
