I use this camcorder for casual events and therefore I don't use the full capabilities yet. I'm still learning some of the cool features this camcorder has to offer and little by little I'm becoming a video enthusiast. Video quality on my HD TV is simply astounding but I connect it via my PS3. I'm planning to get a miniHD connector though.

Perfect for low light. Overall great performer. I have used it only for a couple of weeks now and like it so far. Based on my limited use, I do not have any criticism for this product.

This is a great camera. The picture is better than great. The low light recording is great. The features are great. My only complaint is that it's hard to turn the power on and off with your thumb, using the thumb wheel.

The color and 3ccd setup is great. We use this camera for our 2nd unit, and it works very well, with color approaching our professional setup.
The on screen controls need to be more responsive, but the camera is a fantasic value for the money

Comments about Panasonic HDC-TM300K 32GB High-Definition SDD Full HD Camcorder - Black:

The Panasonic HDC TM300 is an easy-to-use, great camera for everyone from amateurs to video enthusiast. In addition it offers a wide range of settings and manual tweaking, if you're a professional or want to experiment. The only minuses to this camera is it's horrible and confusing software. It's also a bit difficult to import your footage to a computer if you're a beginner in the field, but want to use other software, like iMovie or Final Cut Pro. (Which you're destined to want to do after trying the software that comes with the camera). But all in all it's a near to perfect camera! And once you solve your import-issues, there's not much else to complain about. Highly recommended!

Comments about Panasonic HDC-TM300K 32GB High-Definition SDD Full HD Camcorder - Black:

I use the unit for recording sports events for our local high school. I was looking forward to quickly dragging and dropping files between SD cards and DVDs. After my purchase, I found it takes four hours of writing time to write a soccer game to a disk! I'd have probably returned the unit, but the picture and sound quality are so good, I guess it's worth keeping. The touch screen has been no problem for me, contrary to some reviews. The eyepiece viewfinder, one of my reasons for purchasing this unit, is not as good quality as my JVC MiniDV, but adequate. The battery life for the standard battery seems pretty good, though I usually use the adapter plugged into an inverter hooked up to a 12-volt battery for games. The battery has to be removed in order to plug in the adapter, which is silly. The colors are vibrant; the green even seemed a little overdone when shooting into the sun. Sound is good, but wind noise can be excessive. When recording, the camera creates a new scene (file) each time recording is paused. This creates too many files when shooting sports events. Overall, great quality, I was just hoping that this camera would simplify the management of the videos once recorded. Playing back files immediately after recording can be done from the SD cards, you just have to use the software that came with the unit. Not what I had in mind.
