The recording is a bit lower quality than I had expected, even after reading reviews that said the quality was a little lower. Other than that, great deal for the price. I was on a budget, so it will serve its purpose for the price.

This camera is very easy to use. One of the great features is the ability to upload the videos and make DVDs. Also, like the fact I don't need tapes and there is a lot of memory. Buy an extra battery. The one that comes with the camera has a very short life.

It has all the features i wanted.. simple to operate, small size, less weight... good zoom and movie clarity is excellent. however, the photos taken weren't so good (it has only 1MP camera). so cannot really take pictures. else a very good one and i recommend to get one.

I am fully satisfied with this camcorder. No issues at all. The picture quality is very good and its very easy to use. I feel that lense cover/shutter should be automatic instead of manual.

We bought this to capture memories our first child, i am no expert but for us it works great and my wife has figured out how it interfaces with the PC. I have no regrets, we just point and shoot, it really is that simple and the quality is just fine for us- the casual user.

I should have bought the case too, right now it lives in a zip lock bag which probably isnt the best thing.

I only give it 4 out of 5 because everything can always be better, otherwise there would be no incentive to improve on products and technology. So far this is a great purchase.

I use this camera to film how my baby girl is growing. Movies are great both indoor and outdoor.
I like the ability to get mpeg2 from my camera. 60Gb HDD let me do not think how much time left for new films (download movies once a month). After I've found a software to join movie fragments without re-encoding (I use Womble) I'm fully satisfied with the camera.
Would definitely recommend it.
