I love this camera. It is simple to operate and fits great in the hand. One of my favorite features is you can take a picture while filming. The touch screen is easy to use, no problems what so ever. I do wish it would come with a battery with longer life but I'm told by everyone that is pretty standard for any camera. Great buy!

This is a great camcorder for capturing video at home or on travel. It has an excellent "easy" mode which let's the most basic user operate it right away. It also has deeper functions for those who need more videophile settings (gain, shutter speed, etc...). Has complete compatibility with other sony products like bravia TV's, Playstation 3, and Vaio notebooks. Extremly sharp picture when in or outdoors with bright lighting. Picture suffers some grain when in low light, but still remains good quality. The Picture Motion Browser software is a great tool. Let's you organize pictures and video easily and also allows for quick transfer of files from PC to memory sticks to hardrives and back through USB. Video files are recorded in proprietary format, but can be exported to WMV (windows media) and MPEG-2 as well as one-touch burn to disc (DVD or Blu-ray) using the PC or direct from the camera. Overall, a great camcorder with a ton of features that the average person can use. 2 Thumbs up!

This camera is great. haven't had it for long but love it so far. Use it to video my baby mostly and it works great don't have to wait for it to come on. just open the screen and lens and you are ready to go so I don't miss those great moments.

This product is very simple to use and operate. Also the battery gets charged very quickly which is a good thing. One thing needs to be improved is the battery life.But overall this product is very good sleek, compact and nice quality.
