Easiest camcorder I have EVER used. Such simplicity that a caveman could use this to its full potential. Great everything (looks, picture quality, ease in use and convinence of the small size). I would without hesitation recomend this product to everyone.

Does not look good on 42'' LCD TV

If HDR-CX150 was your first camcorder, you may think that the picture quality is good just because you don't know any better. And it looks good on its LCD display. But when I watch it on my 42" SONY LCD TV, I see that the picture is blur and not so clear. My previous one was SONY DCR-HC40 Mini-DV camcorder and it has the same or even a little better quality than HDR-CX150. Still Picture quality is also not acceptable and I'm not too picky on photo quality. If you want crisp, clear quality video, this is not it.

This was easy to use out of the box and shoots great video. I found it interesting to switch between regular and lo-lux and see the huge difference it made. So many times in the house, with the lights on, and a light on our old camcorder, the quality was poor WELL, not anymore! This camcorder is a little bigger than a v-8 can, but is tons better than our over mini-dv camcorder

I USED THIS CAMCORDER FOR MY FAMILY VACATION IN DISNEY WORLD . IT GAVE A BEAUTIFUL PICTURES , SPECIAL THE FIREWORK AT NIGHT . I DID NOT HAVE TO RECHARGE THE BATTERY . IT FIT PERFECLY ON MY PALM.
