WoW! What a camera. Very versatile. You can record in HD or standard quality. Also allows you to record to a variety storage mediums. Internal storage, DVD or memory stick. Quality looks good and the sound seems reasonable. With all the options come a lot of controls. The wife seems a little overwelmed but she is pleased with the quality!

I use it for vacations, my childs events, church events. It is simple to use. It is flexible because you can record to the Hard Drive inside the recorder or to the Memory Stick or the 3" DVD. Another great thing about it is that you can record from the Hard Drive to the 3"DVD without having another sorce to do it with. The DVD will almost work on any DVD player. It's a great item and I would buy it again if I had to do it over again. ENJOY
