I installed and setup the BBHCM531A outside my house with zero problems. It has already gone through a few bad thunderstorms and continues to work perfectly.

The camera images are great during the day and surprisingly good at night too.

I have a second Panasonic camera that I use indoors (wireless) and the two work together without any conflicts.

The only negatives with this camera are you do need at POE adapter for power (which some people don't realize) and it is a rather larger camera...so if you're looking for something discreet, this may not be it.

Other than those things, it's an excellent camera with easy setup that is well worth the money.

I own 3 other Panasonic (indoor) netcams, BL-C30A and BL-C131A, but this one is far superior than the indoor models. The image quality and refresh rate is better, and the night view is a lot better than the other cameras I have. All functions work correctly, and I'm using it with a 8 Gb SD card, which makes it very useful for recording both pictures and video. The video quality is lower than the photo quality, but you can do both at the same time, and trig the camera with external sensors. So you can watch the video to see what happened, and/or you can look at the photos to better see who did it, and the photo can be instantly sent via email too.
A little expensive, but is a very nice surveillance tool that can be installed alone, you just need a network to connect it to.
