I can't see the driveway from inside the house and want to know when a visitor arrives, so the portability of the handheld is great. However, the screen blips continuously so the quality of the picture is lacking and more importantly, it does not show color as advertised. It looks like an old TV set from back in the 1950's. Possibly needs a filter of some type. Seems like some type of iterference, but I can't find the source.

I bought this camera to monitor our baby and toddler. We wanted to see and hear them when they were in the other room sleeping or playing. The camera works as soon as its plugged in, pretty good detail and you can adjust the brightness to see in dim light. The biggest con is the signal is interfered with by a multiple of things, which kill the quality of the picture or cause scan lines. My wireless internet is the biggest cause of interference but wireless phones and many other devices can interfere with it as well. With no interference i get a good signal down the street, with interference i cant get 20 feet away so the location it is used in makes a big difference. Overall i am happy with it and would recommend.
