Breville's IKON Blender has a die cast aluminum base and has a single wipe
clean control pad with no crevices for easy cleaning. 5 speed setting include
mix, chop, blend, liquefy and puree. It has a pulse function and two programs
for ice crushing and smoothies.
The Breville Ikon Blender features the Hemisphere Bowl/Blade System that
utilizes a large stainless steel chopping blade and a large shredding blade to
hug the uniquely shaped hemisphere bowl. Because of this design, there are no
still zones around the blades and ingredients are shredded into fine, consistent
particles every time. The 54 ounce (1.6 liter) engineering grade Borosilicate
glass jar is designed for clarity and to resist chipping and fogginess. The
control pad features a back lit timer that functions as a count up timer during
the 5 speed cycles and pulse function and counts down during the 2 programs for
ice crushing and smoothies.
