Denon's DVD-758 features multi-channel DVD-Video and DVD-Audio output when connected to HDMI-compliant equipment. The HDMI digital video output has selectable scaling from 480p up to 1080p for compatibility with today's HD displays. When connected to an HDTV via HDMI connection, this DVD player digitally “up-converts” the resolution of standard DVDs to 720p or 1080p high definition for super-sharp images.
