When using induction cookware with magnetic
sensor technology, the stoves cooking/burner zone needs to be the same size or
larger than the round magnetic raised portion of the bottom of the pan. The
6424i has a base of 7.5” which fits an 8” cooking zone/burner zone or larger and
the 6428i has a base of 8.8” which fits a “ cooking zone/burner or larger.
