p>The Lorex VS6438 2.4 GHz 4-channel Wireless Video Sender with IR Extender lets you easily and instantly upgrade your existing video system by adding wireless capability. The VS6438 system comprises two units that send and receive clear video and stereo-audio wirelessly from one-to-another via their built-in dipole antenna. This system includes convenient features such as a 300-foot wireless transmission distance (in open spaces), and the ability to change TV functions from a remote location via the remote-control IR (InfraRed) extender. The Lorex VS6438 is a great option for sending a digital video signal to a second TV from a satellite, DVD or security camera when running cable is not an option.
The Lorex VS6438 wireless system operates on the 2.4 GHz frequency and features a four-channel selection for the sender-unit that allows you to connect up to four video devices simultaneously without signal interference. The VS6438 sender includes a built-in RF (radio frequency) FM modulator, while both units run on nine-volt DC adapters, and have operating temperatures of -10 to 50 degrees Celsius. The VS6438 wireless sender and receiver easily connect to video devices and standard TVs and VCRs via included RCA audio/video cables, although the receiver alone has an additional coaxial cable connector. Identical in their shape, the sender and receiver units are both approximately 5.25 x 1.5 inches (diameter x depth) in dimension.
