The frame of the tweeter is made out of a superior die cast aluminum frame. Built in is a 45 oz. magnet and a 2” high temperature Kapton voice coil. Kapton is key here because it is a non-conductive material and is therefore not influenced by the eddy-current effect like aluminum, when situated in a magnetic gap.
